Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation

Overview

The Institute is in the process of formatting for the Web existing databases of the information contained in its collections and publications. Through the databases we hope to offer the global community greater access to our information.

Archives Collections

The Archives of the Hunt Institute houses over 200 collections of correspondence, field notes, manuscripts and other writings. Now our Archives collections can be searched using an interface based on ArchivesSpace, an open-source Web application. The platform allows users to search, browse and filter our Archives collections at multiple levels of detail. We will be adding new collections and enhancing existing entries regularly.
