In this issue of the Bulletin Curator of Art Carrie Roy covers the reception for our 17th International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration. Librarian Charlotte A. Tancin announces a donation that honors Marlene and Gavin Bridson, and she also recounts the numerous surprises, curiosities and delights found in our Strandell Collection of Linnaeana. Publication and Marketing Manager Scarlett T. Townsend celebrates the 60th anniversary of Huntia with the publication of the 20(1) issue, showcases our Catalogue of the International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration database and reports on staff news. Director T. D. Jacobsen passes the Montblanc from Bridson to White. We thank our 2024 Sponsors for supporting our mission and programs and strengthening our collections.

About the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation

The Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, a research division of Carnegie Mellon University, specializes in the history of botany and all aspects of plant science and serves the international scientific community through research and documentation. To this end, the Institute acquires and maintains authoritative collections of books, plant images, manuscripts, portraits and data files, and provides publications and other modes of information service. The Institute meets the reference needs of botanists, biologists, historians, conservationists, librarians, bibliographers and the public at large, especially those concerned with any aspect of the North American flora.
