Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation

Databases

Register of Botanical Iconography

Introduction

The information and portraits in the database have been collected at the Hunt Institute for more than fifty years. Over time, staff have gathered botanists' portraits from public and private libraries, publications in our own collections and various other sources. Many portraits have been added thanks to the generous input and donations of several individuals and institutions involved in the plant sciences. We are continually adding new portraits to the database.

Acknowledgments
