This exhibition catalogue began with a foreword by George H. M. Lawrence (1910–1978; director, 1960–1970) and featured a biography of Redouté by Frans Stafleu (1921–1997), bibliographic information about the books Redouté illustrated by Ian MacPhail (1923–2014; bibliographer, 1961–1964), descriptions of Redouté's drawings and paintings by John Brindle (1911–1991; curator of art, 1961–1982) and descriptions of Redouté's letters and documents by André Lawalrée (1921–2005). In addition a 13-page guide to the exhibition was prepared for use by gallery visitors.
