Accompanying the Institute's second exhibition of work by Lotte Günthart (1914–2007), this book provided a composite view of the artist's activities, experiences, techniques and achievements. An essay by Professor Conrad H. Eugster of the University of Zürich detailed the biochemistry of yellow pigments in roses. Richly illustrated with many color figures, the volume also contained a separately pocketed artwork: Rose bouquet, a granolitho of a watercolor by Lotte Günthart, printed on handmade paper by Lichtdruck/Matthieu AG, Dielsdorf, Switzerland, 7.5 × 9.5", 1984. Also available was Rose 'Altesse,' an 8-color granolitho of a watercolor by Lotte Günthart in two versions, a signed limited edition printed on handmade French paper by Lichtdruck/Matthieu AG, Dielsdorf, Switzerland, 22 × 30", 1984, and a poster with exhibition title and text, 26 x 33.5".
