With cooperation and assistance from the St. Regis Paper Company, the Hunt Botanical Library presented this exhibition of original watercolor paintings of American trees by Swiss artist Jack J. Kunz (1919–2009). The 25 paintings depicted trees indigenous to the United States, their growth, structure, history, reproduction and influences on and by their environment. St. Regis Paper Company initiated the paintings as part of an advertising program in 1965. A short catalogue accompanied the exhibition.
